Today Shalini and I went to lunch at one of the stall selling Nasi Kandar. As we never tried Nasi Kandar before, so we decided to have our lunch there. Well, we guessed Nasi Kandar was originated from the Malays plus Indians. So these were what we had eaten... Actually, the taste was quite OK. But the price costs us "a leg and a hand" (sorry if i didn't get the word correctly). I feel so sorry for Shalini as she paid for the lunch. Next time I shall only take plain rice... :D Thank you Shalini!!!

Nasi Kandar/Briyani, Fan si
Kevin, Niki, Raymond, Chermaine (TVB)
I like min 1:17.... just like it because it's so natural... but it doesn't mean that i want to try it!
Kevin & Niki.... i also wondered myself, since when i become their wanna-know fans. but to be frank, i personally think that they look matching to each other.... eps the scene where they think of each other.... wah'''' :D
Raymond & Chermaine.... well, they acted well as acouple with many obstacles in The Drive of Life although Chermaine looked like a sister to Raymond.... This song is nice... i always support Raymond's song since his first song in Survival Law.

Jeong Hoon's JAPAN Concert
The concert started at 7h20 I think. At first they covered the stage with some smoke, we could see nothing going on there. They played an instrumental version of Sad song. And Pooof!JungHoon jumped in from nowhere! With short hair and white outfit, as handsome as the most charming prince could be! Remind me a little bit of his UN days, but much more sexy
-
-
He dyed a bit of hair at his front in the Tokyo concert, but not in the others.(Out of the 5 concerts, they have officially recorded Tokyo concert to release a DVD, please look forward to it everyone
-
The audience stood up immediately and cheer so much! He began with Ready to go, and I never thought that the song was so joyful! Listening to JH singing live is wonderful, no CD or DVD can compare to it, his voice was like a purest stream of music flowing around you and you just want to drown in it.
-
Then he sang The best of my life and his other Japanese titles. He drank water after each song, as usual. He waved a lot to fans (ah so lovely!). His voice was so sweet and powerful, almost perfect at the beginning, after that he went out of tone a little bit, but who care, he rocks us till the last minute of the concert. I think it was his most playful and exciting performance lately.
-
After 7 songs he walked off the stage to change the outfit:
-
1. Ready to go
2. Best of my life
-- 코멘트
3. 오르골
4. 바람의 노래
5. 고독
-- 코멘트
6. 나는 너를 사랑한다.
7. 닫힌 하늘
-
-
For me the most anticipated part is the English songs, I love his White Christmas or Lately to death! In this tour he sang Jesus to a child of George Michael, the song is gently sad, quite suitable to JH's taste (as well as my taste ) You must know that, although the song is very soft and sweet, it's tough indeed to sing it well (try it and you'll see what I mean), but JH sang it briliantly and quite emotionally
-
8. Endless sorrow
9. Imperfect
-- 코멘트
10. Eternal
11. Jesus to a child (George Michael)
-
After it he walked off again
-
During the time he changed outfit, they put a screen on the stage and show us some behind the scene pics of him. OMG all of them are super dubber yummy! Perhaps those pics will be added in the 1st Anthology book (I'm not sure, as I said that I didn't know what they were talking about on the stage), so don't hesitate to buy it
-
The lights went out...
-
And when they turned on the light again, there stood JH with a flashy blue suit! Look really like a glam MC
-
-
He turned his back at us and did some funny movement. All fans screamed in excitement :D You will hear the screams in the DVD He sang kyoshi san 의 즌도코 부시 (오리지날 버젼 ㅋㅋhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFvsFrUYWl0 )and swayed his body during the chorus (as in the original clip of kyoshi san) I almost fainted right there +_+
-
After that he took out the blue suit, now he's wearing a black shirt with black trousers, looks totally sexy :D
-
-
Did he think that it was enough to bleed his fans' nose? No He put on a red hat and we screamed crazily
the boy was so fashionable that day *_* )
-
He then sang
-
13. 꽃한송이
14. Everlasting
15. 너를 만난 날로부터
-
Ah I wish I knew Japanese or Korean! JH said st really funny during his performance, everybody there bursted out in laugh, except me T_T He talked and interacted a lot with fans, more than his previous shows, I believe. And all in Japanese, I can see that his Japanese has improved fast.
-
Somewhere in the middle of the concert, he introduced his mom and dad, who sat in the first row. Between his Japanese words he called "Oma! Appa!" (soooooo adorable~~ ) His parent must be proud of him :)
-
In the last song, he introduced the band and said bye to us, then quickly left the stage T_T I knew immediately that it was not the final, as he couldn't bid us farewell like that (I'd die if he would TT_TT ). Fans shouted "Encore! Encore!" loudly in some minutes, and Whoops!
He ran back to the stage with this youthful wearing:
-
-
Heaven bless him with this unspoiled smile He rocked the song Always and Never! All of the audience jumped and shouted and sang along with him.John Hoon,I love you alwaysAnd never the same again
-
Oh please forgive my distraction :D I love to see him like that, so playful like a naughty boy ^^He threw a shirt down to fans to catch, unfortunately it was not that he took his shirt out and threw it (what all of us here want to see) but he grasped a shirt from somewhere in the air and threw it down
-
He finished the concert with In the still of the night (Boyz II Men) and Sirius, right at the moment when the heat reached top ^^ Fans clapped and cheered so much, nobody wanted to leave, even him doesn't want to, he stayed at the stage for about 10 mins to wave to fans, shout to fans (without mic :D ) and talk to fans. He shook hands with fans in the 1st row seats and took all the flowersthat they gave (how nice he was!) Oh I feel I'm still in a dream
-
After the concert, fans waited outside the back entrance to see JH leave, they waited for one hour and a half I think, but then JH didn'tshow up again (he must take another exit way, he escaped from us .No one wanted to go home... The concert was so memorable, I willtreasure the feeling of it in the bottom of my heart.
-
And here is a picture of mine, wearing the T-shirt "Love me love John Hoon" that I bought at the Tokyo concert, sorry it's a bit blur:
-
-
Finally, I don't know of which quality the concert would turn out to be on the DVD, maybe it would lose a bit of its charm, but I assure you that the LIVE version of it was SPLENDID and nobody there could complain about anything, maybe except complaining that the concert was too short! Last but not least, I think I'm the only one there who don't go to his whole tour biggrin.gif everybody else attend all the five performance (sigh~ they are so die-hard fans . I made some friends there, in fact all JH's fans there were lovely angel.gif And I saw many many enthusiastic aunties heheheh...

The 2nd Korean Speech Contest in Malaysia
-
My mother, my college friend and I went together to the Korean Embassy. We registered and took some brochure about Korea. I entered into the hall, with a light feeling, knowing that my participation was purely participation. I seated at the chair stated No 30 and I hade made to know some participants throughout the process.
-
It was a break before Advance Level’s participant began their speech. It was a “long” break. I was very nervous. Participants before me were all great and fluent. I know my standard. I hope to do my best without thinking of the nervous.
-
I stepped up when the Miss MC called my name. Let’s start. Calm.
-
My title is , My Favourite Actor, Kim Jeong Hoon.
-
*******
My turn is over. Fuh… finally. The strange thing was the participant beside me congratulated me. I performed very well? Really? Happy to hear that... Thanks….
-
It was the turn to announce the winner. It was categorized into 1st, 2nd, 3rd Best Speaker of Beginner, Intermediate and Advance Level. My name was not mentioned. Never mind. As I mentioned before, I was just concerned about participating. When I began to pack my things, suddenly:
-
“We will now announce the Best Speaker of Today. The Best Speaker will receive a medal, a certificate, a package tour to Korea for 6 days and The winner is….. Contestant No 30, Pan Ka Min !!!”
-
Ahhh!!!! It’s I!!! I WON!!! I WON!!!! YES !!!!
-
It was totally beyond my expectation!!!
-
I stood up, approaching my mother and I went to the front hall, receiving the “ticket” and everyone took my picture. I was suddenly became the “star of the day”. The Embassy team interviewed me and there were so many congratulation words towards me by everyone. It was a very good… feeling. I was very pleased to receive the honour. Thank you to the judges for choosing me as the best speaker, thanks to the support from my mother, my brother, my godmother and everyone who have been supporting me all these while. And thanks for the hero of my script, Jeong Hoon ssi…
-
Thank you so much.

Fish - Steam Shek Pan -
I never tried Steam Shek Pan before until yesterday....
My grandmother cooked it. And I tried to have some.
Usually what I am concerned with is, whenever there is a steam fish, there is fish sauce...
I like to have fish sauce with rice.... And thus I end up becoming fan tong with fish sauce...
Don't worry, it's halal. The slices were ginger slice and mushroom slice.
It's not oily, it's just the fish's oil.
Rating for this Steam Shek Pan : 10/10 ! Yummy !

有你们在
Sharing from a TV Drama Lover
House of Joy - 有你们在
-
I am a HK Drama Lover – And still I am.
-
I am a KR Drama Lover – And still I am.
-
Nowadays I started to chase over Singaporean drama….
-
The brief introduction of Huan Le Man Wu:
-
-
I started to like this song since I watched the first episode, which was aired in Malaysia around October 2007. It is a Singaporean drama, featuring those who are debt-ridden due to overspending sing credit card to strive on to overcome their financial and social problems. Well, I personally like some songs based on the melody. This melody is pretty good, plus the lyrics contain not just love relationship between lovers but in my opinion, it contains love relationships between family members too.
-
I started to notice Ivy when she was in Family Matters. She is pretty, having a stable job as a lawyer and also, should I say romantic love? For Hanwei, I never leave a good impression on him, but starting from this drama, I started to notice his acting. Not to say very good, but considered good la. Furthermore, I get to know that he is from Johor… (Looks like Malaysians have the priority to travel to Singapore easily… wondering when my turn is.) For Edmund, I have the totally opposite view on him compared to Hanwei, he is a handsome guy… always… but he’d always ended up with affairs, even in drama Women of the Times.
-
Although my Mandarin is considered bad, but luckily I can understand Cantonese, since both Mandarin and Cantonese do have the similar pronunciations, so I’d like to share the lyrics here. It is not 100% correct, as it is based on my understanding. Some words are just hard to be translated…
The song -
-
-
The lyrics...
-
-
-
-
This is... another part of the drama that I like...
-
-
This comes with English subtitles. What I meant by I like is, "the quote"...
-
Conclusion:I would like to dedicate this song to my family. Thanks for the warmest support all these while. I hope to come out with a bright result so that we can forgo our hard time and spending a good time appreciating and respecting each other. I love you all !!

Test on Myself
| You Scored an B |
![]() You got 8/10 questions correct. Okay, so your grammar isn't perfect, but it's at least passable. You probably know English and its rules well. You just are careless about applying them. Proofread your writing a little more carefully. Your mistakes aren't tragic, and they're easy to fix. Give grammar a little more effort, and you'll keep your friends from shaking their heads over your blunders. |
http://www.blogthings.com/theitsitstheretheirtheyrequiz/outcome.php
| You Are 63% Real |
![]() You know who you are, and you're pretty darn comfortable with yourself. Like everyone, you struggle with the parts of yourself that aren't so great... But you're good at accepting who you are and not dwelling on your faults. As a result, you're confident, optimistic, and very real. |
| You Are 20% Emo |
![]() You're the furthest thing from emo. Sensitivity is not something you exactly cultivate... and you can't imagine weeping over song lyrics. |
| You Are 68% Good |
![]() You are a good person. You do the best you can to be ethical, fair, and moral. And as you know, being a good person means making hard decisions... and following them through. If you're confronted with an ethical dilemma, you will usually do the right thing. Of course you do slip up. No one's perfect. But you do your best to correct your missteps. You are also probably: incredibly honest, especially with yourself Right now you are on track to being: A respected leader To be a better person: Be kind to someone who is not very kind to you |
| You Are 63% Independent |
![]() You've cultivated your own indepedent interests and personal style. But you're open minded enough to also embrace anything trendy that strikes you. |
| You're Confident...Sometimes |
![]() You can seem confident when the occasion calls for it But inside you may be experiencing a bit of self doubt A little more inner confidence could take you far... And convince others that you're as confident as you try to seem |
| You Don't Need a Man ... or Want One! |
![]() Generally, you're very happy being a single woman. And anyone who has a problem with that... well, that's there problem. Not that you wouldn't share your life with the almost perfect guy. You simply won't settle though. Your life is too good to share with some substandard man! |
| Your Scent is Mango |
![]() Sultry, sweet, and mellow You enjoy every moment of life! |
| You Are Somewhat Like Your Mom |
![]() Believe it or not, you and your mom are pretty darn similar. It may not seem like it at times, but you and your mom have a lot of common ground. Over time, you'll probably get closer ... especially if you emphasize the things you like about each other. |
| Your Ideal Hairstyle: |
![]() |
| You Probably Look Younger Than Your Age |
![]() You live a healthy lifestyle and know how to take care of yourself. You'll probably have a youthful glow for many years. |
| You Have Good Manners 79% of the Time |
![]() Your manners are quite excellent. You are well versed in etiquette. Of course you have the occasional slip up, but you even apologize with grace. |
| You Are an Okay Student |
![]() You know how to get by school, but your heart isn't always in it. Motivation is a problem for you. Maybe you need to study something more exciting! |
| Your Worry Factor is 63% |
![]() The amount you worry is definitely borderline unhealthy. Even when things are going well, you find yourself fixating on the negatives. Try to remember the times you've been able to let your worries go. If you can do that again, you'll be much happier! |
